Answered Which is better for photo editing: Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop?

I’m starting to do some photography and I wanted to know which would be better to invest my time in. I have used both applications before, however my knowledge isn't extensive. Does anybody have tips?

It's difficult to say which one is better in my opinion since booth are tools which are used for different things.

Adobe Photoshop is for pixel editing, for example: photomanipulation and retouching, and also the production of print and web ready images, and for graphic design in general.

Adobe Lightroom has limited pixel level editing functionality. It's good for quick processing, especially processing of RAW images.
